Diversity Fair 2013!

This year's Diversity Fair was held on the evening of Thursday, April 11th.  Parents were invited to view student's projects and displays of cultures from all over the world.

Projects and displays included: reading of folklore, tasting of foods, appreciation of worldly arts and crafts and even a Mariachi band provided music throughout the halls of the school.

Lost and Found!

As we come close to the end of the school year, the Side Creek lost and found has accumulated lots of items lost during the school year.  Parents wishing to fine lost items should come directly to the school's main office with a description of the item lost.

Items such as; cell phones,  jewerly, hair ties, watches and backpacks are among the many items in the school's lost and found.  Parents should be reminded to come and collect lost items now because the school's main office will be closed over the summer break.

Diversity Fair at Side Creek

Dear parents/guardians of Side Creek students,

As you know we will be hosting our annual Diversity Fair on Thursday, April 11 from 5-7 PM. This year we are asking for your support! We would love to have you bring in artifacts, music, instruments, crafts, clothes or foods that represent your country of origin!

***Food could be for tasting or for sale; all profits from food sales would go to the PTO fund so that it benefits the entire school***

If you are interested in helping with this great community event, please plan to attend a parent interest meeting on Tuesday, April 2nd from 2:45-3:25, in the art room.

Please mark your calendar and we look forward to seeing you on April 11th.
