First Bell at 7:55 a.m.
School Hours - 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
1/2 Day Preschool Hours AM - 7:55 a.m. to 10:55 a.m.
1/2 Day Preschool Hours PM- 11:40 a.m. to 2:40 p.m.
Full Day Preschool Hours (Mon - Thurs)- 7:55 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Preschool Hours (Friday's) 4 year old students only - 7:55 a.m. - 10:55 a.m.
Morning Supervision does not begin until 7:40 a.m.
Early dismissal will not be accepted after 2:00 p.m. (except in cases of emergencies)
Office Hours - 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Aurora Public Schools would love for all APS families to be aware of the district’s 2023 Back to School Kickoff! This highly-anticipated event will take place on Saturday, Aug. 5 at the Town Center at Aurora from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. APS 15th Annual Back to School Kickoff on Aug. 5!
Aurora Public Schools is excited to host our 15th annual Back to School Kickoff to celebrate the beginning of the 2023-24 school year! APS students and families will enjoy free goodies, food, entertainment and more. This is an event you won’t want to miss!
Join us Saturday, Aug. 5 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Town Center at Aurora.
Free backpacks and school supplies will be provided to APS students while supplies last. The event is also a great opportunity to meet school staff and explore the many resources we provide to students and families. If you are new to the district, you can also register your child for school.
Low- or no-cost immunizations and vaccinations will also be available. Please be sure to bring your child’s shot records.

FREE COVID-19 Vaccinations for the APS Community!
APS is excited that all Coloradans ages 12 and older are now eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. We are partnering with STRIDE Community Health Clinic and the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment (CDPHE) to host FREE vaccination clinics for our families. The clinics will be open to individuals ages 6 months and older. Students must have a parent or guardian present.
